Case Study: Mathew Success Story,
with Azure Certification

“It is not the customer’s job to remember you. It is your obligation and responsibility to make sure they don’t have the chance to forget you.” Patricia Fripp

Microsoft Azure is one of the leading programs on the market today which offers cloud computing solutions to the general public. Azure certifications range between developer and administrators depending upon the role that you are looking for as a professional. While developers are people behind the codes in a program, Azure administrators are responsible for monitoring and maintaining these platforms once they are in place.

Becoming the cornerstone for a successful cloud-based solution
Mathew had always been fascinated by cloud computing. Ever since he had heard about the concept, he wanted to be a part of something in this field. He made this career choice early on and began to focus on acquiring the necessary specializations in the field. However, there was a problem. He was unsure about the role that he would like to choose.

“I did a lot of research, asked my friends and teachers, read career stories from professionals but none of these were able to clear my mind on what I had to do. I found a job in a company which provided digital solutions and consultancy to FMCG businesses mostly but this was not what I was ultimately looking for” he says about his initial journey.

He knew all about the exams and certifications available but he didn’t want to spend resources on something that he would regret as time went on. This was becoming an issue because he was too hung up on his dream of being a cloud-computing professional that his current job responsibilities were taking a hit. He was less productive at work and it had come to a point where he had received a warning from his supervisor.

This was when he decided to take a leap of faith and take the Azure Administrative Certification exam. He had witnessed the world of development and also observed the role of system administrators while he was working. Based on what he saw he decided that an administrator was the role he would rather opt for. He passed the exam and was able to make the transition into cloud computing using Azure.

Right now, Mathew is focusing on Azure but in the future, he intends to learn about other cloud providers too. “Azure Administrative Certification served as my stepping stone and I’m glad I made the right choice” Mathew reiterates.

Final word
Microsoft Azure is one of the three biggest cloud providers at the moment and it offers administrative associate modules to help professionals accomplish their goals of becoming certified experts of using the platform. With Azure, cloud based services can be provided at different levels but more importantly, individuals with proficiency in it can make healthy careers for themselves.
